Apresentamos um método de dosagem de glicemia em papel de filtro. Para comprovar seu valor, comparamos os resultados obtidos no papel de nitro e no sangue venoso colhidos simultaneamente. Demonstramos que existe uma relação linear entre a glicemia dosada no papel de filtro e a do sangue periférico. Não houve diferença estatística entre os dols métodos (p>0,05). 0 método se constitui em uma alternativa barata no controle do diabetes melittus e pode ser usado também no diagnóstico da hipoglicemta reativa e em outras situações especiais.
